John 13:34; Acts 11:11–18

You don’t have to be loud or dramatic to show others you are a Christian. But you do need to be visible through your love. Jesus made that clear when He said, “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:34). He wasn’t asking us to feel something quietly inside. He was calling us to live His love through our words, our actions, and our welcome.

In Acts 11, Peter shared something that shook the early church: God’s Spirit had been poured out on Gentiles. That wasn’t just unexpected, it was uncomfortable. Peter was trying to stay faithful, and God surprised him by showing that His love was not just for a select group.

Let Christ’s love be seen in how you care, how you listen, how you include people who others overlook. The world doesn’t need another hidden Christian; it needs love that looks like his. When you live like that, you aren’t just showing kindness, you’re living his love. Love isn’t passive, it’s bold in its gentleness and strong in its compassion.

You might wonder if your acts of love even matter. But they speak louder than you realize, especially in a world hungry for kindness. And the good news? You don’t have to do it perfectly. Just faithfully.

Reflection:  In what ways can I show Christ’s love more boldly and visibly in my daily life?

Prayer:  Jesus, thank You for loving me so completely. Help me to reflect that love in real, visible ways. Open my eyes to those around me who need grace and give me the courage to show up with compassion. Let my life reflect You in quiet but powerful ways. Amen
