In Revelation 7:9–17, there’s this amazing picture of a huge crowd of people from all over the world, standing together in front of God. They’re wearing white robes, waving palm branches, and worshiping. It’s a scene full of joy, peace, and unity. These people didn’t have perfect lives; they went through hard stuff. The Bible says they came out of “great trouble,” and now they’re finally safe, comforted, and full of joy.
Sometimes it feels like you’re walking through your own version of “great trouble.” But this passage reminds us that God sees that. He knows the struggle, and He promises that it won’t last forever. Our spiritual growth doesn’t always feel exciting. It’s often slow, quiet, and happens in the middle of everyday stuff—like choosing kindness when it’s hard, praying even when you’re tired, or helping someone when no one’s watching. But every little step matters. It’s part of the journey toward that big crowd in Revelation.
God doesn’t just wait for us at the finish line. He walks with us through the mess. He comforts us, gives us strength, and reminds us of we’re never alone. We just have to listen. That’s something to hold onto when life feels heavy. So, whether you’re dealing with stress, trying to grow in your faith, or just doing your best to be a good friend or family member—keep going. You’re part of something bigger, and God’s got you.
Reflection Question - What’s one way you can grow spiritually this week, even in the middle of your busy life? How can you bring comfort or joy to someone in your family or community today? What helps you remember that you’re part of something bigger than just your own story?
